We’re live with the latest update for Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days! Update #8 brings much requested quality of life improvements to the game.

Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days continues Early Access development with an all-new updated that focuses on some highly requested quality of life improvements. A number of these changes have been implemented in response to ongoing player feedback as part of our commitment to working with our players during EA, and aim to create a better playing experience long term.

Two major improvements in Update #8 includes weapon swapping, which allows players to quickly equip a weapon from their inventory without having to open the backpack and navigate through all the items to make a selection. A new shelter management wheel has also been added, which allows players to assign survivors to shelter stations so they don’t have to run them round manually.

New content settings are also available in-game, including the ability to turn off blood effects and suicidal themes.

And finally, Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days is now available in Japanese!

As always, there’s also plenty of bug fixes, adjustments, and optimizations.
