EARLY ACCESS ROADMAP
Major updates will be released every 4 – 6 weeks throughout the Early Access period. Each update will have a mixture of the features listed in “Future Early Access Content” below. Details of exact content included in the update will be announced shortly before the update is released. All players who’ve purchased the Early Access version will receive these updates for free.

UPDATE ONE MAY 2025
- CURVEBALLS: Environmental and world events can now affect your shelter over time. These can be positive or negative and may force you to alter your strategy.
- ZOMBIFIED SURVIVORS: You may encounter your zombified survivors when returning to the location where they “died”.
- NEW THROWABLES: Expanded range including additional offensive, distraction, and explosive options.
- DOOR BARGING: When you don’t have time to be subtle, sprinting through a door may get you where you need to be faster.
- NEW STARTING SHELTER: When starting your game, there will now be a new possible shelter location.
- Various general fixes and improvements.
FUTURE EARLY ACCESS CONTENT
- SHELTER: Shelter breaches and enemy raids, food degrading, additional crafting recipes, new shelter stations
- SCAVENGING: Expanded map, new districts, new scavenging locations, elevators, changing environmental factors, expanded lore
- WORLD: Water and power cuts, faction and military activity, weather and environmental effects
- PLANS: New and more dynamic escape plans, survivor side missions, unlockable content after completing plans
- ZOMBIES: New individual and cluster behavior, mourning, additional attacks, hordes will eventually overwhelm your shelter
- SURVIVORS: New survivors, character bonds and relationships, skills system, armor, disease, deeper injury and trauma recovery system
- NPCS: Traders, factions, recruitment, firearm usage, NPC quests, improved human behaviors
- INFECTION: Zombie bite and survivor turning mechanics, infection symptoms
- COMBAT: Additional combat moves, ledge and ladder grabbing, improved grappling, new environmental kills
- WEAPONS: New discoverable and craftable weapons, assault rifles, shotguns, bows, traps
- SCENARIOS: Customizable starting scenarios for different playthroughs
- DOGS: Your best friend in the apocalypse.
- VISUAL IMPROVEMENTS: Ongoing optimization, additional graphic options, new animations
- AUDIO IMPROVEMENTS: Adaptive key moment soundtracks, dynamic audio system improvements
- UX/UI IMPROVEMENTS: Difficulty customization, improved accessibility options, save slots, Steam achievements
